Come out to Heatherwood Middle School this Sunday, April 22nd at 3:00pm to watch the Canyon Creek Staff take on Uprising’s high school boys in the 2nd annual Staff vs. Student Basketball Game! The game is free to get in to, but we will be holding a BBQ lunch starting at 2:30pm to help support Uprising! For $5 you can get a HUGE burger, chips and soda, or for families of 5 or more, pay $20 and everyone gets a meal! We will also have multiple raffle drawings during halftime! Pay $1 per ticket for chances to win scholarships to VBS, the chance to pie a pastor in the face, gift cards and much, much more!

Church Work Party this weekend!. Due to the rain….the property on HWY 9 is soaking wet! We have decided to move the Work Party to the Everett Campus. Saturday ONLY from 9AM to 1PM! We will be mowing, spreading Bark, removing brush and pressure washing the building. Please bring your rakes, wheelbarrows, shovels, blowers and pressure washers.

Canyon Creek Church is going back to Israel Nov. 8-17! Christian, Brandon and Di are once again leading a 10-day custom tour through the Holy Land. If you have ever considered taking this important journey, we believe we have created an incredible introduction. We have the best local help and connections, and have crafted a high-quality tour without breaking the bank. This morning we uncovered a serious electrical problem at the church. Because of this problem, the church building is without power and unsafe for anyone to enter, at least for today.
We are working hard to get this fixed, but for tonight, April 7th, there will be NO C-4, NO UPRISING and NO FUSION CHILDCARE.

MOPS is in need of some dedicated individuals who would like to help bless our MOPS moms of young kids. In order to give these moms their much-needed break, we need to have a group of volunteers willing to love and teach their little ones. MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. After a great weekend with 44 baptisms on Sunday, we are still rolling out the fun events. After our much-anticipated Men’s Breakfast this Saturday at 9 am, our Children’s Department and Underground will team up to bring you Candyland. Come see the church transformed into a giant game board and let your kids (grades kindergarten through 6th grade) play for tons of candy. The fun starts at 3 pm and goes to about 6 pm. Cost is free and your kids will be seriously wired when you pick them up…you have now been warned!

Special guest speaker is Jamie Bohnett. Jamie has been married since 1974 to the same amazing woman, Cindy. He is the father of four and grandfather of two. He is passionate about his marriage and his family, and enjoys encouraging other men to grow in their faith and in their faithfulness to their family. In 2005 he wrote the book “Like Father, Like Son - Rediscovering Sonship On The Fathering Journey.”
